Stuck Sim

I selected the "cook ham dinner" command, and the action has cancelled, but won't move on to any other actions. It shows the action with an X on the action, but it won't go away. So she's stuck there, with her needs decaying and unable to move.  I tried resetting my SIM, but she still won't move, and the action is still active but cancelled. I tried to recover my last save, but I'm unable to do that either.
