@NorahLiath I just used the phone option to quit a job just like I would do for any other career. When I had my teen Scout Sim try this I got this pop-up option:
I clicked on the Quit option and then she was no longer a Scout.

Thanks, I guess I'd better check my mods or try to repair my game, because I didn't get that option. I thought it ought to have been there!
@NorahLiath As another test maybe just move that household to a different lot & see if the quit option shows up then. You don't have to save the game if it does not work, but if it does you can just move the household back to their old lot after your teen has quit.
