candiecoatediv One thing you can do is to have your sims earn the Beloved trait by completing the Friend of the World aspiration. After earning the trait, the sim's relationships will never decay. They will still go down when you do things that cause relationship or romantic decay like mean socials or breakups. The downside to that trait is that relationship culling will no longer occur for that sim and you end up with a lot of sims in the relationship panel.
Hope this helps.

Thank you. The sounds like it could work but I would have to do that for every sim in my families I am assuming.

candiecoatediv It depends on how you play. For instance, have one sim earn the trait and every sim he meets and is in your sim's relationship panel will always maintain friendship or romance levels until they die or you force the relationships to go up/down through socials or other actions you initiate. All those other sims will never lose either friendship or romance with your sim but all the relationships with other sims in their panel will continue to decay. If you play a single household, you don't have to have other sims earn the trait. But if you play multiple households rotationally, then you'll probably want to have at least one sim in each household earn the trait. Or you could just have them all earn it. Fwiw, I do have every sim earn the trait, usually as a child, because it makes life so much easier later on in their lives.
HollownessDevour Romantic Satisfaction is a different thing but is is related. It does not cause the friendship and Romance bars really. Bars can stay at 100% and Romantic Satisfaction will still decay. Its value is hidden. To keep it at a high level, you have to almost continuously pay attention to your romantic partner by using romance socials with them, all day. everyday. But I do agree that it is like the romance and friendship bars. All decay too quickly if you don't talk to sims often enough.
Hope this helps.
