What's the best way to switch from chef career to bartender career?

You can cheat to change the level so you can choose the bartender track instead?
I know you drop a level when you quit but I'm unsure how high up the ladder you are
- @Coley666 I'am at the top level of the chef career and cooking skills.
Probably best to cheat it then because you won't drop low enough to switch the career "normally".
Control > Shift > C

careers.demote culinary
repeat the last cheat command (in live play) until you get the option to choose between the two branches.
However, googling it the solution above may not work. It may be that you have to download a mod to change branch with the same sim
- @Coley666 What do you mean about downloading a mod? I'am new to this and need a little more direction then most. So don't scream if I ask more questions. Thank you in advance.
A mod is content created by fans that can be downloaded and used in the game. These aren't supported by EA so some people prefer not to use them.
There is apparently a mod to help with your situation but I haven't used it and I'm not sure what it is or where to find it as I only heard about it by googling about switching branches on the career.
