Yeah, I agree with you that vegetarian and lactose intolerance should not a trait. I know we have mods which shift this trait to the reward store ingame. If they can’t to this, I think this method would be better fit for such things.
+ if they ever change this, I want to have the option to change my favourite drink from my sims. A normal sim should never have Plasma Jane/Minty Fresh Pet Confection as favourite because they get sick from it.
Little OT; Vegan is not a diet choice. Vegan is a lifestyle. In this sample should vegan be plant-based. To many people don’t understand vegan. Vegan is renouncing of all possible products which use materialise from animals (glue which use animal by-products, honey from bee, clothing which have leather or needed wool from sheep’s and much more…) not only the food thing.

Yeah, I know that vegan is lifestyle and I wanted to include this point in my post, but I have no idea how it would be represented. I went for vegan in this concept because its more known, but thank you for telling me this, I will change it in next concept

We have Lot Traits and then an additional section was added to that with Lot Challenges. I don't see why it couldn't be added in CAS too, also in the way that Likes/Dislikes were added.
I'd like to see it added at some point. I often just leave the dietary requirements off the traits and just play the Sim as Vegan/Lactose intolerant, I have some Fruitarian Sims, raw food Sims and so on. I just remind myself of that as I choose their meals. But if it were incorporated into CAS it would be great.
