Regarding babies not returning from day care you can simply hire a nanny or travel to another lot and back. A baby takes three days to age up by themselves if you don't do it manually before that so even if you worked each day you would only have to do it three times.
Regarding clients chatting instead of waiting until they stop click on one and ask the questions you need to. Notice you should also chat with them about gig related things such as "thank for opportunity" and other things for better performance. If your Sim is involved in the chatting just click to cancel the chat.
There are open bug reports on the two last issues where EA ask for savegames. please submit yours so it can be fixed
@jpkarlsenFirst the baby issue... you miss understood. I am standing right beside the bassinet, I click on the the gig i want for the following day, and immediantly the baby poofs. As for the clients chatting.. I click on the things I need but it poofs or they never respond because of them chatting away and never shut up. and I keep trying over and over for them to answer until I reset them and then ask.
Thank you for trying, to help but this was a RANT and it still stands that this is the most broken pack yet I have seen because the most basic functions that are part of the game do not work.It does not appear to be the same issue with the baby that you see. I recommend that you post again in the thread pointing out the difference.
If you just use general chat option like "thank for the opportunity" then it will not disrupt the chat and as soon as it is asked it disappears from the queue. interactions like show me "board" will disrupt a chat. If they keep chatting simply cancel the chat by clicking it in the queue.
