The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event - stuck with a quest

Hello,

I rarely have problems with in-game events in The Sims 4, but today when I started playing the Event, Week 2, I got stuck with a simple quest (Echoes of Time) when you go to a Museum and your sim has to "Study a Historical Display". The problem is, the only option I get is to "View" a scuplture, a painting and even though I did it so many times with different families and households on various Museum lots, nothing happened and I can"t move forward.

Please, let me know whether this is a bug, so I'm not the only one experiencing it, or it's just my problem (I don't know :-(

Thank you very much for your help :-)

  • So, here's what worked for me:

    1) I repaired the game,

    2) my sims kept viewing different objects (requires a lot of patience) as Luministly and DatBoiOnline suggested.

And after several sim hours it fianally worked!!  :-)

I am having the exact same issue.  I can only see view and not "Study a Historical Display."

I had this issue too, but it ended up fixing itself. I clicked 'View' on a ton of sculptures and then reloaded the lot when I saw it had progressed onto the next step. I hope that if it hasn't already been fixed for you that it fixes soon! It makes you wonder when they playtest The Sims 4...

  • think I have the solution. it worked for me at least. just let the sim view the object (they really like to view the object for a long time) and once they're done, it should complete that. dunno why they didn't change the option, but that's the sims 4. :/
