Shanteal14 Sorry for the late reply. Does this happen if you try to play a different, previously-unplayed household? Please try it and let me know. You don't need to save your progress.
If the other household is fine, evict your main household and place it on a different lot, either a blank one or a default EA-made build, nothing from the Gallery or your own library. This is just a test; you don't need to save your progress here either.
Try to load the old lot and let me know whether it works. If you can't load the household, split it up to see whether the problem is limited to one sim.
If you can't load another household, try a new save. If that doesn't work either, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
puzzlezaddict It's no problem. Thank you for the reply. I wasn't able to play an unplayed household as it crashed while loading.
I was able to play a new save without a problem but that save won't work. I haven't tried my other three saves but I doubt they will be a problem. Would you like for me to provide a dxdiag anyway?
