I said top lots. I checked every lot in Newcrest and only the top lots has the issues. Every other lot seems good. So the bottom lots and side lots are good (you were looking at the side lots).
@Jusey1 I apologize for my misunderstanding, and thank you for clarifying the details. I think I can make a bit of comparative use of my first screenshots, though, as a slight consolation.
I can confirm what you're saying in my game as well. I normally only placement-test on those lots, and do not build there (due to poor lighting for gallery thumbnails), so this is likely why I never noticed. So...
In this screenshot, taken on the lot "Fern Park" in Newcrest, you can see that the terrain paint does not go to the edge:
And in in the screenshots below I use a game stone tile and it does not go to the edge:
Please note that this is referring to the following area in Newcrest:And as you previously stated, the one lot in this area that does not show the issue is Oak Alcove, which I can confirm in my game also.
Edit: Oops... I highlighted the incorrect lot here originally (sorry, thank you for pointing that out, @Jusey1 ),the one lot in this area that does not show the issue is Comfy Cove", which I can confirm in my game also.
With this in mind, if you would like to create a Bug Report on the issue, then post a reply here to let me know you created it, I can see if this post could be merged into the bug report to provide additional information/confirmation, plus I could "Me Too" the report.

- 6 years ago@SheriGR Also, Oak Aclove is actually not touching the road's sidewalk but it is touching the sidewalk it is next to. It's Comfy Clubby that is properly on the road's sidewalk.
