I am currently playing on a hp laptop with a disk drive, I downloaded the game with a disk on this computer will I be able to transfer my game onto a different computer that doesn't have a disk drive? How would I go about doing this? Also can you transfer downloaded cc and mods onto a new computer?

Your games are linked to the origin account. Sign into the same origin account on a different computer and you will be able to download all your games again (you don't need the discs).
You can transfer your mods by copying the mods file from the old computer and putting them into the new save location on the new computer, make sure to run your game once without mods before you do this though.

@2Aud9 I know when it came to transferring my Sims 3 game to a new laptop the old disks didn't work anyway. The game had been updated many times and my disks were obsolete. The Origin downloads worked just fine though & all of my Sims 3 content is now on my new laptop. It might be the same with Sims 4 disks. By the way, a USB thumb drive would work great for transferring your user folders, like your Mods, Saves, and Tray folders.
