Tried deleting all caches. Still not working

I don’t use any mods. I use strictly base game. Nothing is added on nothing is from other websites. I had the new update done, and now my loading screen still loads forever. I’ll be able to click on my family to load the game, but then it just spins forever. I deleted all the recommended caches that I read about on the form. I even did the repair on steam and the other suggestions on the EA app. I don’t know what else to do. I’m not good with computers and I can’t get my game to play. Can someone please help?

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    • Delete the ones you have
    • Trigger the error again
    • Check if new ones are created
    • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

    I've only tried going in a different household and no luck so far so moving on to the next steps

    Same issue here!

    I do use two mods but they have been updated before this started happening or I even opened and updated my game

    Here's what someone said in another post about this:

    Please remove your Mods folder and test again.  You don't need to save your progress.

    If that doesn't help, try a different household within the same save, and also a different save for comparison's sake.  The question is whether the save is the issue or the game in general.

    If at least the different save is fine, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see.  Try again to load your main household in your main save, and if it gets stuck loading, look for a new lastexception.  If you find one, open it and copy the text, then paste it into a reply here.  Please only provide a LE that was generated with your Mods folder removed.
