UK laptop recommendations for Sims 4.

Depending on what you expect it may be good enough. It will be able to run the Sims 4 on Medium to high settings. Since there are no standalone graphics card you can forget about Ultra settings If you post your budget and what else it should be used for it will be possible to look for other options.
Thanks for your reply. I don’t really want to go much higher than £550. The only other thing it will be used for is work which requires the internet and Microsoft office. I have an external hard drive for storing photos but favour larger storage space where possible but it’s not a necessity I don’t think.
what is the different between high and ultra settings?
The difference is better graphics. I found a video that compares low and ultra there of course wont be that big a difference between High and Ultra.

The video is old. I believe that in newer worlds you will see more of a difference.

The graphics chips in all three of these are about equal, and significantly faster than the chip in the laptop you linked earlier. The second one has the most storage, but it's also a mechanical drive, so Windows would run more slowly, and most apps would load more slowly as well. While a solid state drive isn't strictly necessary for anything, it's a quality of life upgrade that might be worth it, especially since the third one, with a 512 GB SSD, is only £50 more.
I did also see a proper gaming laptop for £580, although I know it's a bit more than you want to spend. For comparison's sake though, this one would run Sims 4 and all packs together on ultra graphics settings, although only barely. But it would be a massive step up in performance from the integrated chips in the other laptops.
