If you are a new member, you can't start a new thread. This was a recent change due to some massive spam bot attacks.
You have to be a full member.
Engage in some existing ones first to level up, then you can open your own.
I have been a member for three years (just got a badge for it) yet I still can't post anything, I just don't know how to - cause i'm stupid...

It doesn't matter how long you've been a member.
it's about the number of points you have and how many posts you have.
Can you also not post in existing threads ?

How do you, then, 'level up' to become a full member? By commenting on threads? I've posted in the threads a few times a while ago, but I'm still a novice and cannot make a new thread. I just had a bug I wanted to ask about!
