Unable to change floors in live mode/change walls

My game has officially become unusable since today's (May 28th) update because I can no longer change floors in any lot in the game. All lots in live mode have all walls up, and floors at the max, meaning roofs are visible, and the buttons to change floors are greyed-out, as if I have no floors at all. I cannot enter any house I live in or have my Sims do anything in them because all items are gone when all walls are up, as if my Sims do not live in their houses. Hotkeys to change floors also do nothing. Setting the floor to the first in build mode then loading into live mode causes all floors to go back up to the top, and all walls to go up, too. As I mentioned, this means live mode is officially broken for anything indoors. This is with all mods disabled, with the only script mod being MCCC. All other mods are CC CAS items, and as I mentioned, they were all disabled while trying to play in live mode or at all today because of the update. Reloading the game or restarting my computer did nothing. Changing lots does nothing, either. I have every expansion pack and every game pack installed, with most stuff packs and kits.

    I am able to change floors in live mode since the game update when I'm playing a mod (and cc) free game, i.e. with none in my mods folder. 

    Have you tested with your mods folder out of your The Sims 4 folder? Also make sure to delete your localthumbcache file and if that's still doesn't help, try repairing your game in the EA app.

    HI @Sm00re1 

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
