Unable to interact with toddler

After the latest update I am unable to interact with my toddler, when I click on the toddler I only get the option "Open profile" and nothing else. It is the same with any sim that tries to interac...
live mode
never cc or mods
pc
ui (user interface)

    This is no longer an issue, the issue may have resolved itself. I cleared some cachefiles, that may also have helped.
    All sims are now able to interact with toddlers again. 👌

to be sure, it's every Sims/Toddler combination even on a new save game or just any Sim with a specific toddler or just a specific save ?
