VINDICTIVE THIEVES CALLED EA GAMES/ORIGIN
So I bought The Sims 4 University along with Real of Magic, Realm of Magic worked but University just would not show up in my game. In Origin library it just said I had game but it did not offer the option to play like with other games. I contacted support for help only to find out that because I own the Sims 4 Legacy Edition that game could not play on my computer. So I spent $20 on a game I could not play. I did the logical thing and asked that they refund that game, I planned on seeing what other game I could have bought that would play on my edition but they would not refund the game. They specifically told me that my edition could not play the game, that it would not show up in my game, but refused to refund the game. I also do not have internet, I am currently on a hotspot just to do this and try to get the problem fixed I am in now fixed. So I had my bank refund the 19.99 University game, not even the full price with taxes just the base price that was charged before taxes. Now keep in mind I have numerous games already, Sims 4, Get to Work, Island Living, Dine out, Get Famous, and so many more. These games add up to a large amount games that I fully paid over the years of playing. Well EA, the thieving vindictive people that they are closed my account taking all those games I already paid for away from me because you need Origin to play. So they wanted to steal my money for University game and because I corrected that myself they stole (YES STOLE because all my games were PAID IN FULL from the store and from Origin) all my games from me. I use to love EA before they joined Origin that is but I am starting to realize that they are not for their customers, they only care about their money whether they steal it or earn it they don't care. This proves it so much more because how could any company STEAL games from a long time customer.
Hi @starrez,
I'm sorry to hear about the frustrating situation you encountered. Unfortunately refunds are not something we can help with directly here on Answers HQ. From what I can see it looks like the EA Help team was asking for some additional information in order to complete a refund request. If you're able to provide that info they should be able to continue from there.
When you have the chance please follow up with the EA Help team so they can proceed with the refund request. For more information on how to reach them check out the EA Help website. You can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead, if you prefer.
