The fury goes up to fast and they turn to much. The fury goes up for no reason. The sims only get one point per tier which is not enough if you want all abilities be your sim dies of old age not.
@jordyou23 I play 3 werewolves (that @PugLove888 made, which I really liked, btw)... she had started them out in skills and said they were easier to manage at first, but she said at mid skill levels they had become harder to handle sometimes. That is where I started, so I can't speak to the beginning part, but those three were one big hot mess sometimes, especially on a full moon, until I got the hang of a few things and until got some things in place. These are the changes that helped in my case... immensely:
Try to keep all of their needs out of the red. This helps a lot for not triggering furry. Keep a special watch on hunger and energy.
As others said here, know the temperaments and traits they have, as some will need to be consciously catered to, especially until they are more advanced and have more control.
Meeting, and raising friendships/hanging out with Kristopher and the Collective is super helpful, then to join it once your friendship with him is high enough.
The 'wolf nap' will allow them to be directed to sleep right where they are if their energy is low, so if you see they're getting low in energy you don't have to wait for them to walk to their bed.
Similarly, you can put some types of non-perishable food items in their personal inventory and direct them to eat that on the spot if their hunger is getting low (then have them walk to a refrigerator and get a full meal).
Make good meal leftovers for the refrigerator for them to autonomously grab (or be directed to grab leftovers). Make sure you always have plenty of food in the refrigerator. A butler that you direct to prepare meals then drag to the refrigerator or cooking multiple meals ahead of time to always have a well-stocked refrigerator is very helpful.
A high quality mattress may be helpful if you are having issues with your werewolf not getting enough energy quickly enough while sleeping or getting too hungry while sleeping. (A high quality mattress shortens the needed sleep time to get energy filled.)
Lunar Resistance is super helpful as a full moon didn't automatically make all three go from 0-100 immediately (and sometimes repeatedly):
Also, the trait that @PugLove888 was referring to that provides an opportunity to change the negative traits is Lunar Howl...
With this howl your traits will shuffle (when you use the howl). It can only be used once each night. When they 'lunar howl' their traits shuffle and you have a chance of getting one or more positive (blue) traits. It is a random shuffle, though, so you may get better or worse traits, and you may not get any blue traits. But you can try again the next night. For instance, after I added the Lunar Howl to one of my werewolves, I had him use the lunar howl that night since all of his traits were red, and he did get one blue one:
I have my werewolves living with regular Sims. There is a basement living space the non-werewolves cannot go to with some things that can help them 'release steam', and howl away if needed. There is a ladder from the basement to the main floor. If I miss catching them and one of them gets enraged, I direct them 'go here' to areas upstairs to downstairs. Climbing the ladder breaks things up and uses time, then I have them howl or try to regain control depending on the options available, then 'go here' again. Use pause. The time for the enragement or the 'regain control' option appearing can go pretty fast this way. Also, when I got the 'regain control' option I would pause and queue up about 4-5 'regain controls' in case the first one was not enough.
I also added a soccer ball, the basketball hoop, and workout equipment, but the favorite for the two that liked to engage in these options more for this household was a treadmill and the yoga mats I put upstairs and downstairs. It may depend somewhat on how physical your Sim's preferences are? Some Sims that don't care that much for exercise will enjoy a treadmill if you put a tv in front of it, though.
