I'm really angry right now. I have a 64-bit computer, but since its a mac, it also needs to run metal. And it doesn't! So basically i'm going to have to play the legacy version which will never get any new updates or content. I was so fricken excited for discover university, but now i cant even play it unless i buy a new computer. Im broke. I cant waste my money on buying a new computer to play a fricken expansion pack for the sims 4. Why ea? Why'd you have to make this change? Now everyone that is forced to play the legacy version, won't ever get anything new. Your game is lacking gameplay. And the one pack that had so much great gameplay, we can't even play ☹️
I sure hope Apple wrote EA GAMES a big fat check since they're basically working together to try to bully me into buying a new computer when mine is fine and SIMS is basically the only thing I can't do on it anymore. The game ran fine with no lag or graphics issues.
Now I have University and I can't even play it. I already had Legacy installed (because the game gave me an error message when I tried to play it without switching) but apparently they couldn't warn me that I was buying a game I couldn't even play?
No access to the gallery, not even the old stuff.
Also, super glad Apple talked me into splashing out for a computer that would supposedly last 10+ years but they stopped supporting it at 7 years.
Might be time to part ways with SIMS and Apple...
