Wohoo Option Gone

Hi shelbeehive do you have issues with every couple in that save game or just these two ? Is woohoo/TFB the only option that's gone ?

Hi! Yes just these two, I tried with other couples in the save and they had the option. And, yes, as far as I can tell, the only option that is removed is the woohoo/TFB, they can still make out, kiss neck, etc. I also uploaded my sims to the gallery and brought them into a new save and it popped up so it's an issue with them specifically in this specific save.

Do you have lovestruck and do they have a proper romantic satisfaction ?

shelbeehive Ok, you probably already know all this but woohoo and TFB only show up on sims after they've had their first kiss with each other and have a high enough romance bar, usually 50% or more.  You've said they have done the first kiss, but you didn't mention anything about the romance bar so just to be sure, what is the level of their romance and friendship bars, and have they done the first kiss with each other?  Do either of them still show the first kiss option which you click on their partner?  And are they showing the kiss, suave kiss or steamy makeout options?  Those three options won't show until after using the first kiss option as well as the woohoo and TFB options so if those options show, then the first kiss has been done.  Steamy makeout also won't show in some cases as it requires them to get to a steamy relationship and usually doesn't show up until the romance bar is maxed.  The kiss neck option does show up before you get the First Kiss option though.  Even after using the first kiss option, woohoo and TFB might show unless the romance bar is high enough sometimes.  Tbh, I think you've probably done all that, so I think that one or both of the sims might have glitched and the game thinks at least one of them is still a teen which have all the romance options except woohoo and TFB which is what is not showing up for you.  

This is a bit extreme, but one thing you can try is use the cas.fulleditmode cheat and take them to CAS from Manage Households (MH).  Reset them to teens.  Exit CAS and enter the lot.  Let the game run for a few seconds. Exit back to the map and take them to CAS via MH again.  Reset them back to YA.  Exit and enter the lot and check to see if the Woohoo and TFB options are there.  Idk if this will work though as I have not run into the situation you have and haven't tried doing this although I have reset the life stage on a number of sims at various times and have found no problems with doing it.  They will lose their jobs, but otherwise, they should still be the same.  So, before you try this, I suggest you make a backup of the save first or just don't save until you've tried doing this so you can reload the save if it doesn't work.

You also said you turned off your mods.  To truly make sure that it is not a mod issue, you need to move your mods folder out of the game path for testing (moving the mods folder to desktop is good).  Just unchecking the boxes in Game Options is not enough.  Some mods will still leave things behind, and influence a save since they still get loaded by the game before you get to the Main Menu.  So, you might want to go back and test that again just to be sure this is not a mod issue before trying what I suggested above.

Yes I have lovestruck, both their relationship and friendship is completely maxed, and their romantic satisfaction is very satisfied. I read through the thread you linked but it is a bit different like you said. 

Hi, thanks for the response! Yes, they have definitely had their first kiss and their romance and friendship bars are maxed out. I do also have lovestruck installed and they are both very satisfied in their relationship. 

I didn't completely remove the mods from the folder the last time so I dragged it onto my desktop and restarted just to double-check if it was a mod issue. The options were still missing when I took them out (I also deleted the localthumbcache.package when I did this). 

I also tried resetting their ages by forcing them into teens and back up following the steps you laid out. The options still didn't show up though. Just to be sure, I used MCCC to allow woohoo/TFB for teens, elders, family etc. to see if any of those options would work, but still nothing. 

I could start a new save file with them I just don't know what caused the issue and don't want it to happen again.

They also broke Woohoo in the shower a long time ago and so far it seems to be still broken.

shelbeehive  There is one other thing you can try.  Try saving the household to your library.  Delete the originals in the game and then move in their copies from your library.  They'll lose all their relationships outside of the household and their jobs.  If they have anything in their inventories or the household inventory, lay those out on the lot somewhere before deleting them.  One way to get the room for that is to add a big basement room if you don't have the space already.  After their copies are moved in, just pick up the items and put them back where they were.  Also, empty any containers like storage boxes, fridge, or jewelry and flower workstations and put them on the floor.  Tbh, if you have a lot of anything it might not be worth the trouble doing that because you'll have to pick them up one at the time.  Once the copied sims are on the lot, you can just pick up the collectables from shelves, floor and walls and drop them in a sim's inventory to get them to register for the collections again.  And you might want to make a copy of the save first or at least not save until after you are sure it works so you can reload the save if you need to.  If that doesn't work, you could also try moving one of the sims out and saving them separately, then put them back in the same household and cheat the friendship and romance levels back.  Since they won't know each other, you'll have to introduce them, etc.  You should get the first kiss option back and that might give you woohoo and TFB options after doing the first kiss again.

I've heard and have had this issue where both Sims will reset and drop the command when romantic actions were queued up.  But the issue seems to stem from Sims who've been together since they were teens. I'm troubled to hear it's bleeding into the older Sims. Why give us an EP such as Lovestruck, just to have this happen? It truly is a nightmare. Not only that, but after I got my young couple (they are both now YAs, and happily married with twin baby boys) over this problem by removing their relationship to clear it and then restoring it, the next time I opened this save to play, they were back where they started, after this latest patch. Happy anniversary to me! 😮.

I removed my Mods folder and then did a game repair. I'm very happy to report, it solved my problems.
