'Work' icon remains after quitting job.

I got a pop up that offered me a heap of money to quitting my sims job, which I accepted. The job she quit was a Chef (rank celebrity chef). She is now an interior designer. 

However, the bottom of the screen where you switch between sims has an issue. The icon that looks like 2 people that allows you to change the way your sims works for the day is still there. Ive never had this issue before and can't help but think it's because I quit my job via a pop up and not via the phone or computer. If I click on it, it doesn't do anything. More just annoying than anything else.
