Sure, why not? It sounds like good drama, and unfortunately marriages break up all the time. If the parties are unhappy, it's probably for the best. Go for it! :smile:

I don't play the Watsons in my current rotation, but they are one of the households I keep in "My Households" and which I set as "Ancestral" in MCCC so that the family line continues without being purged by the game and without vacating their original home. I found them interesting enough to do that much at least and in a future new game where I plan to pick one pre-made family per world, they are who I'm picking for that World.

Yes, but be prepared to move them, unless you want your Sim to move there. Thomas inherited that farm and it’s a huge expense that neither he nor Rahmi could afford alone (not that she would necessarily need to stay there if they divorce, since it wasn’t her family’s farm). It’s hard work to keep up with their bills with them together. But I immediately had Rahmi quit her job in the Style Influencer career (level 2 doesn’t pay much anyway) because that didn’t seem to fit her at all, she’s helping on the farm and writing romance novels. The cheap produce (apples, lemons, base game mushrooms, etc) can be made into friendly treats and sold at the stand for a nice profit if you haggle, especially on Fair days. That’s been their largest source of income for me, and once they get golden eggs that’ll take most of the load off.

I played them because I wanted to play all the Maxis teens on rotation. Once I moved Rashidah out for college, I was glad to not play them anymore tbh. She married Rohan Elderberry and now they live in Windenburg.

Watsons clearly do not enjoy each others company so its fine to break them up

i kinda feel like plantsimhood would suit him but we don't really have proper plantsims in the game yet so idk

The marriage is failing anyway so why not help them along? I had Thomas cheat on his wife with a spellcaster sim I wanted him to get with and he's alot happier.

I usually delete most of the townies to make room for my own townies.

Split them up. You don't have to play them all if you don't want to. I haven't done anything with them yet, but I will be splitting them up and I have no plans to play them all. I'll probably move the rest of the family out of their house and leave them as townies. I'm inclined to put Tom into a shack and make him suffer, while his wife is miserable with someone else. I don't really know why, but I don't like either of them.

I love that family. It's the first family I played with after the pack came out and has become part of my rotational play.

You don't have to break the marriage up, their relationship is rocky, she did cheat on him and has an ongoing affair, but maybe he's just looking for a friend to talk to or someone to just hang out with that isn't always upset with him since he doesn't have any friends as is.

I haven't played that save in a while but last time I played the eldest daughter had a huge fight with the mom and ran off during a thunderstorm. The dad went after her and they spent the next clear day, as it stormed for several days, exploring the world and just having some father daughter fun time. Mom hot a promotion at work and seemed a little more happier. Not sure what will happen next or where this family will go but Thomas seemed more lively once he got out and started hanging out more with others. I don't know if I'll keep them together as Thomas is very hurt from Rashidah cheating on him and is just going out and trying new things and working on just being happy with himself for now.
