Before I realized the 'Can Reproduce' achievement wasn't working, I did something horrible. I hate playing large families, so I created a couple, and had them have babies, which I moved into a locked room. And starved until the social worker took them away. *cough* the 10th baby was the chosen one. The couples got their priorities together and spoiled him rotten.
Yeah. My wife refused to hear anything more about my sims escapades after that.
eta: Save for the recent poll I did, I never interfere in natural deaths. If a fire breaks out, I go hands off and let them handle it or die. I also let fires burn until they're burned out. Same is true of the cow plant, or swimming, or electricution (for the rare sim that seems to autonomously repair objects, I've only had one of those).
I'll probably do more polls in the future, though. It was fun.
