I say if you want to save their genetics, give them a child in CAS. If you want a plausible explanation, say for a storyline, you could say they used a surrogate or something of the sort, to carry on their genes. I recently made a family of two mothers and gave them a bunch of genetic kids through CAS, and I love how gorgeous they turned out to be.
