Usually EP have some cas or furniture that really stands out because it looks pretty or original. This pack however doesn't have any items that stand out because they look good. Of course that's personal taste and can be different for everyone. It has the obligatory bar, bed, picnic table,... for simmers who don't have many packs yet there are recurring items like a swing and firepit which are not in base. For cas it's mostly functional clothes, there is one hairstyle I really like. So good if you want some basic clothes for you sims' free time.
For the gameplay I don't think I will use getaways a lot. But custom venues open up possibilities. I am currently creating a spellcaster hangout, with the scheduled tasks I feel like I can finally create a counterpart for the ever dark magic realm. Custom venues open up a lot of possibilities if you want to create lots for specific purposes. It does need some tweaking or fixing unfortunately. There is a task to host a speech but not to listen to one and for lectures it's the opposite you can only set listen, not give a lecture. Sims also start to cook when you want them to eat. I hope things like this can get fixed in the next weeks.
I thought I would hate imaginary friends but I am surprised to find out I actually like them. It's a shame they don't get some kind of special trait when they are turned real as a reminder of their origin. But aside from that I like them.
