Always some new kind of frustration

I have moved my Sims in the Alto Apartments across from Diego Lobo. This is the first time I have ever played in this apartment. Why on god's sims earth is there a trash can in the lobby? The trash chute is there and functional and of course I can't remove the trash can. My sims keep going out to the lobby to throw stuff away when I have a perfectly fine garbage can THAT THEY PASS BY to go to the lobby to throw stuff away. :neutral:

    @JadedJane, does that enable editing of common areas though? It doesn't work when I've tried the common areas around residential lots, unless there's more to it then just typing the cheat and going into build mode.

    Try visiting the lost as sim not in that household so they have to wait in the lobby. Then enable the cheat that allows you to edit noneditable lots and locations. And see if build mode comes available then.
