Anniversary Update Out Now!

I'm slightly disappointed in the anniversary gift but that's because I'm not a builder and I use custom content for CAS. I'm happy for players that will enjoy and get use from the new items and I appreciate the custom content creators participation.

The patch notes for bug fixes are abysmal and this I am very disappointed with. Gardening has been broken since Eco Lifestyle. Cooking has been having issues since Snowy Escape. These are huge bugs that affect the game experience by a lot. It should not take this long to have things fixed and functioning properly.

It wasn't worth the wait, but I like how Harrie's stuff has great swatches that match with the furniture we already have.

Take notes, devs. Take some dang notes.

I absolutely love this update. I really hope EA/Maxis does this again because there are some really talented creators of CC.

I really like this update as well and I think it depends on how it's received whether they do it again. The new 'Beautiful Details' (highlighter) - especially in combination with the make-up sliders - are perfection. I will use them all the time.

Just to add: Those are also one of the new eyebrows and lipstick in this picture.

Add gardening and autonomous cooking to that list. Plants constantly despawn, and cooking is glitched. Sims don't eat after making the first dish. Most of the time my sims will cook something, cook again, then grab a quick meal and eat that. And yeah, the stairs thing is huge. The game is just so broken right now. At this point they should just consider renaming the game "The Bugs"

At this point I'm confused what the bug fixing team even does? Do they only have one person working on bugs or something as months keep passing yet not a single one of the biggest issues are getting fixed no matter how many people are complaining about them

I'm not mad at them using CC creators for an anniversary gift but most of them just phoned it in too because Luumia, AH00B, feralpoodles, and storylegacysims just grabbed stuff they had up for download well before this. Grade A trolling but bad anniversary gift.

I have no idea, It can't be a large team. I highly suspect that they don't get paid for bug fixing so other things get prioritized.

They have a large QA team (almost 100 people according to credits) but there is no way they work with bug fixing.

It looks like they might show more stuff on the stream. At least that is what people are speculating because a guru said not everything was shown and the sims account responded with a hushing emoji.
