- FatTribble235 years agoSeasoned AceGardening has been messed up for a while. My results are inconsistent. Sometimes they work like they should for a few days, then suddenly the plants go back to dirt piles for no reason. Yesterday I sent my sim to harvest the veggies, and they disappeared off the plants in front of my eyes before he could! The plants were still there, but the produce was gone. The next morning everything was back to being a dirt pile. It's frustrating, but not new. I keep hoping to hear a modder has fixed this, since EA doesn't seem to be in a hurry to.

I just want gardening to work as intended again... Is that too much to ask for? - FatTribble235 years agoSeasoned Ace

Not at all! I feel the same. I guess EA has other priorities than fixing bugs. I'd sure like the constant cooking and grabbing quick meals when there are all those yummy leftovers in the fridge to get fixed too. : :| - I haven't had an issue with harvesting or selling. I thought I was having a planting problem, and I realized I tried to plant Spring plants on the last day of winter. Once I hit the next Sim day my Sims were able to plant, research, and harvest. I don't have to weed and water plants in the round planters, yet though. That was where my garden issues were coming in. No weeding or watering options.
- logionX5 years agoLegendGardening is broken. I read on Answer HQ that some have gotten it to work when they locked the eco footprint to green (you have to use mods to do that) I'm not sure it actually works.
But it sure is frustrating to not be able to do any gardening in the game. - paigeisin55 years agoSeasoned AceLet's see....Eco Lifestyle was released in June and it is now January; six months of waiting for the bug fixing team to fix the mess they made. Sounds about right. Some of us are waiting for a few bugs to be nuked that are still running around in Dine Out! And I have tried a couple gardening mods but none of those completely stop your plants from reverting back to the just planted stage from time to time. It just happens less often. I can handle the annoyance that causes, but I cannot shake off this feeling it's a bug that will never be fixed. Once again we have to deal with a main game feature being borked, and no one at EA seems to care. Yep. Sounds as if we're on our own again.
- Kimmer_one5 years agoSeasoned AceI haven't had any problems with gardening since maybe November. I've recently played several saves with Sims who have big gardens (lots of different plants) and everything seems to work perfectly.
At the moment my game is most bug free that it's ever been. I only have two bugs that I know of; the one where Sims don't eat leftovers from the fridge and the staircase bug.
The leftovers bug is the most annoying because my Sims keep wanting to grill food while their fridge is full of leftovers. There has been few grill fires because of it, but luckily no casualties yet. - oceanicairlines85 years agoSeasoned NoviceI had problems with gardening for a long time (plants that kept resetting to dirt piles, harverstables dissapearing in front of my eyes), but since the pre-paranormal patch, my plants in my garden will grow as usual but there is never anything to harvest (on the plants on my lot or even the plants in the world). After 5 or 6 days in summer (I tried spring as well), there is nothing to harvest. No mods installed, tried new saves, with/without the micro-home lot features, with/without the ''green thumb'' thingy that you can buy, with/without the ''great soils'' lot trait: nothing works. I have repaired my game twice, I have uninstalled then reinstalled the game (even leaving some packs uninstalled like ecolifestyle since it is so buggy), gardening is not working for me. Hope it gets fixed soon, I always use gardening in my games.

I hear you, everything you have said has litterly happened to me. Gardening is one of my favorite things, plus the sims make a load of money from it.
