Yesterday I noticed a lot of oddness in my game.
My game loves to slap certain CC on sims in the game. I have quite a few items I use for my cosplaying sims.
Unfortunately I end up with several service sims with cyborg arms and Indian face paint. That's on top of all the odd clothing combinations and weird families.
So I plan to edit 3-6 townies every time I go into the game. - I don't change every townie, but the ones with crazy generated appearances I'll usually change. Other than that, I normally only change them if I plan to include them into my gameplay somehow
- Me :( and that takes a lot of time to remake sim. i wish you could stop new townies to spawn, so there would only be sims that i made and story progression like in sims 3... :) hope they do that soon!
- If you're fine with using mods, I'd recommend you to try AKLSimmer's Reduced Random Townies Generation out. It won't only reduce the number of townies generated, but also lets you create your own Sims for specific NPC jobs and roles. :)
- I give townies makeovers all the time... it's really annoying!

- Yes! Every Sim in my little Sims world I have placed there myself so when they have children all those little Sims need to be dressed because Lord knows the game can't generate a matching outfit to save its life. So I end up dressing them same Sim 3 times. Toddler, child and then when they are teens I dress them for the last time. It gets exhausting.
- I never used to redress townies, but recently their outfits have been completely ridiculous. They all wear a ridiculous combination of gloves, stockings and jewelry. I think I may just delete the game generated townies and just make my own. I also wish they weren't all so pale, pear shaped and bland looking.

If you have Sims4Studio you can set cc items to not be available for random which will stop townies from spawning with them. Won’t fix the ones that already have stuff you don’t want to but will save you time in the future.- Yes, but I just start deleting when I get tired of editing them.
