Do you give townies/premades makeovers?

Yes! I laways give a makeover to Eliza Pancakes. Give her dark brown eyebrows and the second from right blond hair and baaam, she looks stunning!

I genereally just leave them be. The exception would be if they become good friends with my sims or if I start playing them as part of my rotation. Then I might give them a minor makeover. I never edit sim faces or personalities.

I normally only give them makeovers when they are a significant part of my gameplay (i.e friends of my own sims). In my current save, I only gave two premades a slight makeover in terms of clothes and hairstyle (I never change their facial features).

The first one is Cassandra Goth. Initially I only gave her another hairstyle (it's a low ponytail, you can't really see it in the pic), but now that she's a young adult I also changed her clothes a bit because her teen ones looked too much like a school uniform.

The second one is Angela Pleasant. I changed her hairstyle to resemble her sister's more, while still looking different enough. I also gave her different clothes, her old ones kinda looked too "grown-up" for her. However, I made sure to keep the original color scheme intact:

Usually I’ll go through and edit a few outfits, but I’ll always try to stick to the aesthetic of the character as much as possible!

I do agree that if I was to go ahead and start changing facial structure, etc that’s like a COMPLETE overhaul and I wouldn’t call it a make/over because you’re changing what makes them, well, them.

Depends on how messed up they are. Most just need a better hairstyle and/or name, but some of them are just too extreme and need waaaaaaayyy more help than a new hairdo and outfit can fix.

I do a major makeover if I spy a random Townie who desperately needs it (frex they are all turning up in batches looking far too similar) or is a walking poster child for hair and fashion crime weekly. I'll do minor tweaks to looks or dress if I end up playing the premade.

I normally leave the pre-mades alone with their clothes, hair and makeup. If one does marry into one of my families then I will give them a slight make over to reflect their new life (new outfit or hair style). I never mess with facial or bone structure. That's just making an entirely new sim to me and if that's what I want then I will just make that sim in CAS.

If I play with them I may change their clothes, make up and hair but I never change their face or body. If I don't play with them, I leave them as they are.

I give them new outfits, hair and makeup. Some of them have zero style. They need my help. :D
