- NateWhiplashSeasoned VanguardTotally agree. Inferniate is my biggest pet peeve---I feel like it should set fire to anything that would be flammable in real life.
- LazzialNew SpectatorI find quite a few of them useful. I probably use the copypasto spell more than anything but there are a few others I also use. Copypasto is great for duping fossils to find an expensive one then duping that one over and over to make 2-3k simoleans a day. It's also good for duping potions so I don't have to keep a garden or cauldron after making a batch of excellent potions. I also use the spells to resurect other sims and for the annoying sims there's chillio, zipzap and inferniate :)
I do agree that some could be more useful. Like when traveling through Selvadorada's jungle. You would think inferniate would burn through those vines, but noooo... - Daephene1New SpectatorInferniate does burn leaf piles in the fall. But I did notice that my spellcaster focusing on practical magic rose through the ranks very quickly compared to her roommates that focused on the other two, because she uses her spells to cook and clean and repair the plumbing and their spells... set fires and put them out, or require other sims to be around to be victims.
- kukkahillaSeasoned NoviceMy favourites are probably chillio and inferniate. I used to like inferniate more, because if you cast inferniate on the ground under sims feet it often killed them, but since sims started to use fire extinguishers excessively it has been way too hard to kill anyone with that spell :/ I hate fire extinguishers!
I think the spells are okay, but there could be more interesting spells. I mean, some of the spells we have are useful and I use them because of that and also because we don't have anything else (and like necrocall is really useful, no need to wait for a ghost night at bar anymore when I need to add a ghost into a household), but still I feel like it would be fun if the spells were more magical and... fun."Arzekial;c-18161632" wrote:

That would be awesome! - yeah i always felt its tad meh
especially with spells like inferniate because game blocks you after you inferniate like 3 objects and also your sim puts out fires they caused themselves
why would you cause fire if you were to put it out immediately hmn?
usually my spellcasters just end up like magical maid/handy person fixing and cleaning things  cause idk what to really do with them when theres nothing magical to doooo I'd also use them for meals but why the heck can they only magic up food that makes your sim fat like excuse me but is that all there is to witchy menu I'll be better off sipping their plasma - My spellcaster casts spells all the time. It's my favorite feature of the pack.
Love the practical and untamed magic spells. Never use the mischief spells.
One of my favs.

Same! My Sim just uses that plentiful needs potion constantly. There is absolutely nothing the magic can actually do besides housework and pestering people- including us Simmers.- Repairio is very great if you have electronics, saves a bunch of time. Zip Zap can also help if you want to increase your handiness by fixing appliances you broke. Scrubberoo is so useful too, it mops up puddles, cleans up dirty appliances, and even yourself and other Sims.
Furio is amazing if you want to introduce a bit of drama to other Sims and have them hate each other if you like that chaotic energy...you can even beat up pregnant Sims with it, bypassing how you can't fight them normally which is hilarious. Infatuate also has a similar chaotic energy though even their spouse if they witness it won't call out their partner for cheating.
I also like Chillio and Morphiate. Both are good spells to get rid of Sims that are annoying you. Minionize too.
Inferniate is a bit of a bust though. It would have been much more fun if it set Sims on fire, and if Sims acted like they did in Sims 3 while someone is set on fire, like whenever a fire starts it sets the game to a screeching halt for other Sims to gawk at the burning Sim even though there are already Sims that put them out.
I also use spells like Inferniate, Chillio, etc to put Sims out of lethal moods such as Enraged, Mortified, Hysterical, etc. - Thistle_UknowhooNew SpectatorI wish that they could have more helpful spells. It seems like most of the spells they cast are mean spirited. It would be great to have more positive spells.
- Oh yeah I forgot about potions.
It's annoying that they can refuse potions. I've literally have had Enraged Sims who were friends with my Spellcaster refuse Potions of Emotional Stability even though that spellcaster was trying to save his life. And it's annoying you can't really cause much chaos as you like with evil Witches throwing these gross potions out. Wish you had the option to force feed them the potions lol.
