Anyone having a bug with the "give food" interaction on the toddler high chair?

I can't feed them if I click on the highchair itself. If I go into the toddler care menu and select give food, mom or dad will place them in the highchair, give them food out of their inventory, and the child eats. Any option to give them food that doesn't include clicking the highchair itself works every time for me, but clicking the on chair fails every time too.
