Anyone having items sell for zero simoleons in their store?

Not sure if this is really a bug or just me, if it is I'll post in the bug area.

Tried googling for an answer and everything seems to be from 2015. Just wondering if this is still a bug or something on my end. This happens on +5% or +25% mark up (maybe others, I haven't tried yet).

I started a new sim who is broke and sells cheap items in his "store" (it's really just a lot with a short wall and register on it). Items above 50 or so simoleons sell fine, anything cheaper than 20 seem to sell for zero simoleons. They are mounted fish if that makes a difference. I know on another playthrough I have, the store owner sells paintings for several thousand simoleons and I've never had this problem. So I'm wondering if it is the type of item being sold or the item being so cheap the game doesn't correctly recognize them and defaults to zero.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks.

  • Have you tried selling the fish while they're still unmounted?

I could swear that cheap items still sell properly... Like during the Sim Supply's Bread Shop Rags to Riches playthrough, they were selling low-end Breadsticks for like 12 Simoleons, and it properly gave them money.
