Someone on Twitter alerted me to this. I tried to change a child to a plantsim with testing cheats by shift clicking on them. Clicked make into a plant sim and nothing happens. Tried more then once. Still works on adults though. I think the latest patch broke this cheat for children. I ve reported it to Nick.

Thanks for this post. I didn't know that children could be Plantsims. While we are on the subject of Plantsim, How long do they stay as Plantsims? Mine turned back while I was playing another family. Is this normal?

Plantsim timer is 5 days I believe.

Unfortunately it is normal in sims 4. Kind of makes plantsims useless in rotational games. I still don't understand why they are only temporary in this version of the game.

I'm going to assume this is still broken since it wasn't listed in the patch notes but sometimes they dont list every fix.
