Having said that, my Evil, Mean, child hating elder test Sim is playing with his 7 toddler siblings like they are best buddies.
That troubles me... It's so wrong, the sim is acting out of character... Glad it's not my Evil, Mean, child hating elder sim, cause it'd drive me nuts, to the point where I'd be pulling my hair out. A sim should be themselves and behave according to their traits unless instructed otherwise.. Yeah, drive me nuts it would!- MckinneyMini9 years agoNew Ace

Unfortunately, as you know the sim "personalities" and traits in this iteration are not as fleshed out as they were in Sims 3, so in Sims 3 for instance they would be REALLY mean and get super mad being around children, this iteration they will only really do "mean" things if prompted. Its way more robotic. They seem to act just like regular sims autonomously to be honest....... - I was kind of hoping he would avoid them - but on very first starting the game, the very first thing he did was play that Flash card came with one of them.
- You inspire me to put Miss Hannigan in my game.
- Bathing is no fun.
I was hoping he'd push their heads under the water a few times - just to rinse any residule soap from their heads. - Toddlers that are playing in the toilet don't find themselves suddenly push in head first.
It really is heart-breaking that a Mean, Evil Child Hating Sim really just doesn't act as one would expect. "plopppo2;15479121" wrote:

This could be misinterpreted sooooo badly on any other site (>.>)- I have a Sim who is the Emperor of Evil. She has both "Evil" and "Mean-spirited" traits. She just had a baby, and is a single mother. The baby also has the "Evil" trait. Everytime the baby wakes her mom up from crying, she gets the "Fiendishly Delighted" moodlet. And everytime she cries, her mother gets the "Fiendishly Delighted" moodlet.

From my experience, not really. My sim had a child with Don (who's traits I changed to 'Hates Children' just to see if it would effect him) and the worst I observed is him not wanting to play with the child as much. They still interacted and such, but the relationship bar only took a small hit.
On that note, this is the type of thing I'd like to see more fleshed out if 5 (big if) comes around, although not obessesively to the point of annoyance, and less focused on emotion overriding nearly everything. To answer OP's question, not that much because most times they still act as if nothing fazes them, but Mean Sims seem to have the strongest reaction out of the three traits, or maybe I'm imagining it...
I played the Landgraabs recently, and forgot Nancy was even Evil. I ended up just making Malcolm a prime suspect in his parents 'disappearance', he'll probably get away with it, though.
