Hi everyone :)I've never ever played with the premade families. Premades have always been there as a background to me and eventually my sims would marry one, but that's all.Now i want to give a try in playing with all the premades in rotation. I haven't made my mind about if i will do it with all premades in all worlds or all premades in only one world... I think i'll figure that out as i start playing :)How's your experience playing this way?

I play with some of them, but I especially love playing the Goths and Bjergsens. Playing with all of them would be a bit overwhelming for me, but I at least check them out and do a makeover of the families.

I tried in the beginning but they don't have a storyline whatsoever so I just delete them most of the time.

The way things are set up in this game it is really hard to play any kind of storyline with them, but saying that there is something that I am doing. In my game save template, I have given every single premade family makeover along with their homes. I've added the missing parents with the two families in Windenburg. To add a bit more I've also added the sims that were in the game trailers but didn't make it in the game, sims such as June Kay, Lacey Stiles - Sims who were in the game trailers but didn't make it in the game.

Yep, I do, together with my own legacy families. As of now, I play with the Goth, Zest, Landgraab, Pancake, & Feng. I play all in one huge rotation. I play along with what they want to do with their life (based on their aspirations). So far, it's quite fun.

I'm currently working my way through playing all the pre-made residents that are living in a home. So far I've played 24 of the pre-made families and I'm enjoying it a lot. I play each family for a whole sim year with my seasons set at 14 days and I have the longest life setting. My current rotation length is to long as it is and I plan to alter it once I've done a rotation with every family. I've been playing this same save for over a year and have only played 24 of the families. :D After I'm done with a whole rotation and every family is marked as played I will alter my season length to 28 days and only play each family for one season before I rotate. The nice things about playing this way is that every family is different. It keeps the game feeling fun and fresh for me. I also get to give them all makeovers and nicer homes over time and slowly my entire game is starting to look and feel so much more to my liking.

Anyone playing with all the premade families?

Yes, the dad to the Munch family, and the mom to the Villareal family.

When I added the mother I aged the family down. I did this to give me a chance to play the family before the dad passes away.

There is no tombstone for either of the sims. It was my main reason for creating the two sims, and to help me in giving these two families their much needed back story.

When reading their backstories according to EA, I knew the mother was dead, but I got the feeling that the Munch father had just abandoned his family.

I had one save where I aged down the Goth kids, but I left Mortimer as an adult and Bella as a YA. I also created Michael Bachelor (Bella's brother) and had him as a spellcaster. I may repeat that save, or at least the part with Michael without aging down the kids.
