Anyway to make a non-active sim take a shower?

Short of taking active control of another sim, is there any way to make them take a shower??

My main active-sim in the household that I play has 3 sisters who she has given the key to her place to, and they visit every day. For the past 2 sim days in a row, one of her sisters has shown up totally filthy. She doesn't have the green low-hygiene cloud, I think she was caught in a fire somewhere....I asked her to change outfits, but she stays all filthy and it's not warm enough outside to get her to go swimming.

    @AlbaWaterhouse Yah, I should have mentioned that. I don't think her hygiene was even low, because of the no green stink cloud. Her mood is fine too...but she's FILTHY. lol

    It is actually pretty hilarious :D
    I think the only way is to play her for a bit and see what's going on with her. Or maybe wait a couple of sim days.

    Put them in a club quick and make it one of the things to do..

    Looks like she could have been struck by lightning! No advice on how to get her to shower though :D

    Dang, awesome, @HermitGirl! I didn't even think of the fact that bath/shower is a club activity. Thank you so much!

    @FairyGodMother You might be on to something with the lightning, it was raining a few sim days back. I didn't notice any thunder, but I play the stereo pretty loud when my sims are indoors, so could have just missed it.

    You could also try asking to see her in a different outfit and see if that fixes it. It may do, if its lightening rather than stink.

    Go to a gym with her, ask her to exercise and maybe she'll use the shower there.

    That too is an excellent idea, @Sigzy05! Its sleepy time in the game right now, I think once daybreaks and the household finishes breakfast I will invite her to the gym AND put her in the new Shower-to-Shower club I made at @Hermitgirl's suggestion.

    The two combined should get her to take a shower. Assuming she still looks toasted come the new day.

    @elanorbreton That is a great idea! So great I'd tried it already. hehehe. No go.

    Thank you all for helpful contributions.

    She showed up while my sims were eating breakfast and looked normal again. It only took her 3 days. I would have taken her to the gym and shower club had she not just showed up normal, so I do appreciate the suggestions.
