Anyway to remove a romantic interest?

You mean like, stopping them from being romantic interests? All you have to do is choose the "lets just be freinds" option in friendly interactions when chatting. If you mean keep them as RI's but just don't show them, I'm not aware of a way to hide them.

@duhboy2u2 Will asking to just be friends remove the romantic interest label from the panel?

They'll still have the empty romance bar but they are tagged as 'good friends' instead of 'romantic interest' I wish it would remove the whole extra bar but I haven't found a way to get rid of that.

Ok so the only way I know is to use MCC and click on 'relationship', 'delete' and then select the sim whose romance you wanna delete. I'm saying this because as far as I remember, an open romance bar, even in the deep negative, means to them that they are 'valid romance target', and they will keep using those romantic interactions.

Delete that other sim. :D That's what I always do.

I had a sim do the let’s just be friends and afterwards whenever they spawned in the same place one of them would greet kiss the other, and not a kiss on the cheek type. They’d grab them and kiss them. I just decided to do mean interactions on them but I hate that.
Currently trying to cool down a romantic relationship I got from a blind date and their bar is about 1/4 but I wish I haven’t gotten any romantic points with them, I don’t know them!
