Apartments or houses?

i've been playing in apartments lately, but i'll probably go back to Windenburg soon and do the house thing again. Not really anything against apartments, i just feel like time distortion is way worse in san myshuno than anywhere else
they also feel a bit restrictive at times (but that's the nature of apartments, whether in the sims or in real life)

I prefer houses and not apts being I can't do apartments the way I really want to do them. @CyrusTheLoser , I already went back to Windenberg(which is my favorite neighborhood) seeing how I could not bend the Apts to how I like to rule. But I may give them a try again in the future.

Houses, because the neighbors don't complain about the noise.

When City Living came out, I was all about apartments and San Myshuno. Now that I've played with a couple of different generations and explored some of the apartments, going back to the base game worlds makes me feel so relaxed and has a different vibe. I'm starting to appreciate houses now that my households get bigger and bigger and apartments start to feel too small.

It'd be great if we could build or download apartments from the gallery but lol, lets not talk about that.

nothing against apartment living but I just hate to see my sim went downstairs to talk to some random sims, as for the house is better but the weekend was bombarded by the neighbours visting, they just came knocking on your door like we owes them simoleons.

It partly depends on the story, but generally, I prefer apartments or penthouses. I suppose it's just because I love big cities (London and New York are my favorites, but I also love Tokyo and Seoul). And I live in a city (the biggest in my country, which isn't actually very big) and in an apartment.

That's why as soon as City Living was released I started playing with a sim, who moved into an apartment. And when I got vampires, I first tried to have them live in the Forgotten Hollow, but it took about two simdays, after which I moved them into a penthouse (I used money cheats for that).

Houses, definitely.

The freedom to move about is great, out the front door and you're standing in the sunshine raring to go :)

I only play in one storey houses, many of them about the same size as, or smaller than, some apartments but I never feel cramped or claustrophic in them.

I like to have a garden, too. If the house is getting filled up with stuff I can sling new items outside. A lot of my Sims love the outdoors so they're happy.

Houses. I love the way some of the apartments are decorated but I'd much rather have a house.
