- Yes! Usually I have a really cute kid, and when they grow up they change soooo much
- Dreamprisoner10 years agoSeasoned AceDefinitely, I've now got the mind frame that the prettier the child, the uglier the adult.
- Kiwicantdie10 years agoSeasoned AceCAS seems to be 'limited', with children. You can always edit child sims only to a certain extent, that's why their genetic is 80% of the times misleading.
- Yeah, kids are pretty same-y looking due to the limited CAS. They won't really show things like big noses or prominent chins until they age up. If I ever was making kids I would create them as teens then age them down :grimace:

That's what I always do when o create kids :)- I'm kind of glad kids are more or less "standardized" to be cute. It was actually the opposite in TS2, most of the times kids (and toddlers!) were super ugly, and they only got better when the aged up. I think it had something to do with certain assets (such as big noses or mouths) not fitting well in kids' sketons.

I beg to differ with Alexander Goth in TS2. Cute kid, but when he aged up...wow. - Cmehnt10 years agoSeasoned AceIf you look at their parents, you can kind of guess what they'll look like since they just have softer features of their parents (or grandparents if your family tree is long). Luckily they don't really have features that fall "in between" so its kind of easier to tell.
Like @Qdog, I'm glad they look permanently cute cause my kids in sims 3 that were born in game really freaked me out. LOL
The only freaky kid I had in 2 was my alien son who was the stuff of nightmares until he became a child. His features started evening out. Kinda. - This feature of Sims 4 is why 90% of my new teens go immediately into CAS for some plastic surgery or "work" on their faces. I hate playing w/ugly or homely sims.
- Duhgirl2u210 years agoSeasoned AceYep, I find this so true. I'm a CAS aholic and tend to change the ones I think are ugly, but its been hard to leave the children when they are ugly because they seem to make beautiful teens/adults and my cute ones are usually ...scary teens/adults :P
Sorta brings new meaning to the phrases, "She'll grow into it" or "She'll grow out of it" don't ya think?
