- When is the patch?

I'm not sure where they're pulling these bugs from, but I haven't heard of any of them personally.
I wonder that as well. There's a combined list on answers hq with the most reported issues but none of them are appearing on any of these laundry lists. Some of these issues they're fixing are from 4+ years ago and have less than 10 comments whilst issues with 500+ comments are not being fixed. It's frustrating because they could be using their time to fix actual gamebreaking bugs but instead they're wasting it on trivial issues that are just minor inconveniences, their priorities are just all wrong.
Like when you've got HUNDREDS of people saying --- is really badly affecting their game, LISTEN to them. Put all your effort into fixing it. At the moment they're just going on about "we're aware but this minor thing is more important so we're gonna fix it first" which is the opposite of what they should be doing.- akl12265 years agoSeasoned AceI think many people tend to forget that the laundry lists are bugs that will be addressed in the next patch. Whether you agree with that or not. I guess they don’t want people freaking when things mentioned aren’t fixed ASAP because they would. So it’s just planned fixes for an upcoming patch.
Simgurunick replied to someone on Twitter they are plenty aware of the other issues and the super common issues happening but they are requiring much more extensive investigation. - PixelsaurusWrex5 years agoSeasoned AceIf you are having the stair bug, don't use the auto-fence/wall when you are building. If you already have the problem in a house, delete the stairs, then if a wall or fence appears at the landing where the stairs should be, use the sledgehammer to delete the pieces. Then replace the stairs. This should make the stairs usable. If the floor was deleted and has reappeared, you should still be able to delete only that section.

- texxx785 years agoSeasoned AceYeah i was just thinking how many years it will take to fix all the bugs?

I hope not too many ‘cause this pile is starting to stink. ? - Babykittyjade5 years agoSeasoned AceI think people are getting confused on what the laundry list actually is. It doesn't mean suddenly all major bugs people want fixed are going to be fixed every month. It's just to give simmers a better insight because they always ask for more transparency. But if the laundry list makes people upset they might stop doing it altogether.
They acknowledge and are well aware of major bugs but have not found a fix yet or they would release it.
I seem to be in the minority here but I've never let bugs take away from my enjoyment of the game. Just yesterday I played for long hours and found away around any encountered bug and continued playing. I even had the stairs bug too and I did exactly as @Mstybl95 stated above. Stopped the auto fencing and deleted the fence in front of the stairs. My sims used it as normal.
Anyone who feels angry or frustrated over the bugs or find them game breaking should probably take some time off to play a few other games until they are fixed whenever they figure them out. Hopefully soon ? - texxx785 years agoSeasoned AceThe problem with transparency is that you actually start seeing through

I'm giving it another couple of months.
