I think people are getting confused on what the laundry list actually is. It doesn't mean suddenly all major bugs people want fixed are going to be fixed every month. It's just to give simmers a better insight because they always ask for more transparency. But if the laundry list makes people upset they might stop doing it altogether.
They acknowledge and are well aware of major bugs but have not found a fix yet or they would release it.
I seem to be in the minority here but I've never let bugs take away from my enjoyment of the game. Just yesterday I played for long hours and found away around any encountered bug and continued playing. I even had the stairs bug too and I did exactly as @Mstybl95 stated above. Stopped the auto fencing and deleted the fence in front of the stairs. My sims used it as normal.
Anyone who feels angry or frustrated over the bugs or find them game breaking should probably take some time off to play a few other games until they are fixed whenever they figure them out. Hopefully soon ?
I don’t let the bugs bug me or break my game either, but what they should do is separate their laundry and show us in which hamper it goes.
In the exact same laundry list, every month.
Long Term Laundry: needs to be washed at a really high setting or goes to the Dry Cleaners altogether: this includes major bugs such as The Stairs, The Garden etc.
If they keep acknowledging that these are being investigated at least we know. Many of us don’t use Twitter. These should also be on the official list on the official website. Every month. Until they’re fixed.
Short term Laundry: is washed at a lower setting and is the kinda laundry that’ll probably be fixed in the next patch. Currently that’s the only laundry they’re talking about.

I am aware that they are working on the major bugs as well, but it's difficult to not feel that they are not prioritizing them when their laundry list seems completely random and have nothing to do with the bugs that most people have reported over on Answer HQ.
"Hopefully soon" is not good enough. Not for some of the bugs that we have had since last year that makes it difficult to just play the game. - PixelsaurusWrex5 years agoSeasoned Ace

I stopped playing the game 4 years ago when sims walked across the world to wash a dish in the farthest bathroom. I came back around a month ago and that bug still exists. If the suggestion is to take time away from the game until bugs are fixed, I don't think any of us would ever play the game again. - Daephene15 years agoSeasoned AceI am happy about the fish grand meal one. I don't know if I really have seen any of the others.

I understand the frustration some may feel but literally WHAT can we do until it's fixed? Beat them over the head and say FIX IT NOW!!!?? and it becomes magically fixed?
Now i have no idea what is going on exactly on their end of things but I can only imagine they are actively working to fix it. But with such a big game like the sims and so much code, so many interactions it can't be easy either. Every fix has a chance of bugging something else. It's like an endless cycle.
All we really can do is wait... as Captain suggested maybe they can find a better way to let people know the major bugs are being looked into but other than that it's still a waiting game. - logionX5 years agoLegend

That depends how you feel, in my case I'm disappointed enough that I no longer want to give EA my money, I still think we should keep reporting and select "me too" on Answer HQ though. And provide feedback if you can, I think an active community is better for a game overall.
Do what you feel is right for you. - Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned AceThe only bug I'm aware of on that list is the plasma pack one with sims not drinking autonomously from them when made from fish or frogs.
It's a very disappointing list and also it's quite disheartening cause it means at least another month of the broken cooking, broken stairs and broken gardening which in my opinion are a big deal bugs that affect the game by quite a lot. I'm already taking a break from the game and this list is far from inspiring me to return to it anytime soon.
I doubt anybody at EA pays attention here but just in case they do please for the love of all that is good start prioritizing the important bugs. - DaWaterRat5 years agoSeasoned AceSo no one in this list has had a Vegetarian Sim grab non-vegetarian leftovers and then get sick/sad? I have, and I'll be only too glad to pull the MCCC settings/mods I have that avoid this situation
I'm sure I've seen other people complain about it here on the Forums, but I guess it wasn't anyone who is currently in this thread. - GrumpyGlowfish5 years agoSeasoned Ace@DaWaterRat I did complain about it on the first page of this thread (and probably elsewhere, too). It's one of the reasons I'm no longer playing with vegetarians.
