Are Lice Freezer Broken Again?

I've managed to fix this by adding the missing line: RETAIL_FRIDGE to 'Valid Inventory Types' in the relevant tuning files using Sims 4 Studio. It works. I dragged apples and dragon fruit to the Lice Freezer and they went in just fine. Basically, it's the harvestables that needed updating, not the freezer. I have to update all of them one by one. Hopefully, I'll have time to finish tomorrow and will share if anyone wants it. Didn't take as long as I thought.

This is an override for the fruits and the veggies like spinach, basil, etc. I will update it with the new harvestables from Seasons, but no guarantee that I'll update it any further.

There's a different bug where no matter how much you fill the freezer, it never looks full on the outside. EA has to fix that one.

ETA: This was made with the Seasons patch. May not work with older patches, so use at your own risk.

*June 24, 2018 Updated to include green beans, bell peppers, green peas, and money fruit from Seasons.

Mine seems to be working - but it was newly bought and newly made content was used to put in it. I haven't got any new produce yet to add though so could not try garden stuff yet. My sim has very little garden experience - as a dev recommended starting new gardeners after Seasons comes out so I have been waiting with her. Also her retail store is tiny and new. No buying customers yet - but the fridge is lightly added to.

It isn’t working for me either. I have sold and repurchased the freezer, and have sold all produce in my inventory and then harvested a fresh batch. I am still unable to add anything to the freezer. It is on a retail lot that I owned prior to the patch. I may try to purchase a new lot and see if it works there.

I put bakery good in mine and it allowed me to put them in and take them out. But that was all I tried. I have not gone back into the game yet. Had real life stuff to do, so don't have time to try gardening and such yet. Hopefully it works for that then.

Perhaps mention your issues on twitter page for Guru Grant as he is adding info on the free part of the update there last I heard. Good luck guys - hope it starts working for you.

I can't get any produce into the freezer, either. Darn. I was so excited about that fix.

@IceyJ @Pillbug2 Have you guys deleted the localthumbcache file? If you haven't, delete it and try again.

Yeah, I deleted it when I removed my mods.

Have you tried using a new save file? Sometimes new updates doesn't work for old save files.

@Aine Tried that just now. New game, all mods removed, deleted localthumbcache again, still didn't work. I'm about to repair my game as a last resort.

@IceyJ Yes, repairing might do the trick. Please let us know what the results are.
