Are parents, divorced, relevant in your game?
I don't pit parents against each other, my best friend grew up like this. I add the kid where it is most logical, financial E.T.C. That parent has full custody. Their kid gets to email the other paren...

My sims hardly ever "Divorce" so to say
do they separate? surely sometimes
but thats probably cause one of them died tragically or one of the parents is absolute psycho... or both
soo... yeah.
its usually just one of the parents taking care of the kid maybe with some other relatives
i havent really had many "clean" divorces where it would make sense to juggle the kid between parents
and when they do divorce its usually before kids or if there is kids its likely i just wanted to steal someones spouse for my own sim family and kids stay with the other parent
