Well.. you cant expect everything to be included in game, that would be too much work for them. We already have online shopping, teleporting, ceilings already included fire sprinklers and so on

I honestly don't see a point in them adding landlines anymore. Like I don't have a problem with them adding them in but really what use would they be if everyone has a cellphone? Kind of the same way with TS3, no point if everyone had a cellphone. Now if cellphones were purchased at a store/kiosk like in TS2 Uni then thats a different story.

When a cell phone rings when my sims are at home, I always miss it the first time, and can't tell whose phone is ringing. I either have to wait for it to ring again, or click on each Sim till I find the right one.

I do the same thing lol. I miss the landlines, even if they are just deco like someone else said.

I want landlines and no mandatory cell phones.
Sometimes, I don't WANT to get calls from Sims. Sometimes, I WANT my Sim family to just get away from all forms of communication beyond each other.

It'd be nice if they at least gave us non-annoying ringtones to choose from with the cells.

Sadly no. I mean even the Sims Freeplay has them. I would love to have landline phones and newspapers back. I want real cashiers back too.
