Ask for child’s hand in marriage?

I don't have SE yet, but this is so sweet. I'm already planning on giving my main sim the proper trait, so I am looking forward to trying it out. I fear no sim will be good enough for his little moppet though.

Gosh, I wonder if that will translate across the entire game. Back in Sims3 (I'm thinking) we were able to seek a parent's blessing. We could also introduce Sims to other Sims. I miss that. Being able to seek 'permission' is a step in the right direction, at least.

I will try it but I don’t want him to marry Kaori but Gemma charm instead, I might give her mum the proper trait and try it but it could take a while!

I know it’s a lovely touch! Sims can introduce sims to each other, go into friendly then other sims, then talk up another sim, that’ll make the sims meet there and then if the sim is already there or you’ll get a text the next day saying they enjoyed meeting so and so

Wow, that's so cool. A teen can become promised to be engaged to be married.
