Aspiration Rewards - not telling me what I already have?

Hi,

I've recently started playing again and one of my Sims has a lot of traits/aspiration rewards. I seem to remember that when you would click the menu to purchase rewards, it would either grey out the purchase button or tell you that you already own a certain trait. Maybe I misremembered, but I appear now to simply see the menu as if I don't have any of the reward traits, risking that I may buy a trait I already have.

Yes, I could look at my traits before hand but I have a lot of traits and it seems like a lot of extra hassle that I didn't have to go through before. Has something changed or have I misremembered?
