At What Point Do You Stop Playing a Save? UPDATE

Hope you found some good families to add to your save. I frequently, when I'm not in the mood to make them myself, search for some families on the gallery to pop into houses that are the same age as my played families kids. I will often kick singles out of the houses \. Finding teens is hard because it's hard to tell at a glance who's a teen in the gallery, lol. But I wanted to start a day care (with a mod) and my world only had a few toddlers so I grabbed a few families off the gallery and popped them into houses/apartments. now those kids are growing up with my kids, so they will share all the life stages together. I have long aging on, I like seeing kids grow up together.

UPDATE: I decided to spend some time today adding teens/families into my game. What I discovered when I added the Hillard's, a widower and his two teen children, that neither of the teens were in school. I forgot that at one time I set MCCC to have Child and Teens quit school. What happens automatically, is that none of the Teens are in school. So, I had both resume school, and I purchased schoolbooks for them. That's when it dawned on me to check the Teen I placed in my game just yesterday. Again, I had her resume school. Then, rather than add Sims from the Gallery, I checked on various worlds for the Teens. Turns out there's plenty of them, just NONE of them were in school. Okay, I hope this gives all of you a good chuckle. I will just say, these cheeks are quite red now. LOL

Thank you for the positive suggestions. I am now ready to play my game tomorrow, (running out of time today). and we'll see what happens next in this accidental Saga I've created.

I don't leave this lot but for a moment. Not to play Erik's siblings, but only to make certain Bree had her youngest child and to have Erik take his horse back from Joey and Aaron. I'm thinking somehow, I managed to ham-string myself. LOL

Thanks, I'm so not finished with Erik, yet.

My current save has been going since February 2021. Just when the last of my sim self's children are out of the house, MCCC throws a curveball and he somehow manages to have several more children while playing other households. My plans for him to age up to elder get put on hold but that's a good thing as i get to keep him as an adult for a few more sim years as i reset his adult life stage back to the beginning when more kids come along.

I don't understand why it's an impossible situation when you can simply create or download more families and add them to the game. Then your teens can befriend them for all sorts of teen activities and school mates.

And potential love interests. ❤️

I have to admit I did take the newer saves (I always Save As each playing session) so I could place just those few in a new game folder, which I did very recently. Had I realized there were next to no kids, other than Erik's and Bree's around, I would have done something then. But, yeah, here I sit on a nearly impossible situation. For Pity's Sake Judith Ward just deceased! I suppose I could transplant these save, do a slight rollback and quickly add other Sims w/kids/ teens, et al into the game?

ETA: I do have the save backed up from when Cadence just aged into a Child . . .I just don't wish to have to remove chapters that are already written to fix a timeline.
