August Patch Speculation Thread 2024 (Large Emergency Patch Out Now)
I forsee possibly a big update coming in August that will add something new to the base game since August is the last month in the roadmap.

I am ready to not get anymore updates at this point. Most of the time they don't work at first and require a second round, and we have to spend a lot of time updating our mods folders and stuff. I'm starting to feel bad for the modders bc a part of me (the conspiracy theorist part) thinks the sims is pushing patches and updates to make it harder for the modders to keep up ššš but that's just me over-thinking.
i don't think they'd ever do something like that tbh. biggest reason being how easy they made it to download and install mods in ts4. They know a majority of the sims 4 community is playing with mods, and a majority of modded players wouldn't play without their mods.
