Auto-Save?

I remember hearing that Auto-Save was added in Sims 4. Anyone know how to turn that on? The laptop I'm playing on is really good, but it, uh, has this issue where it can randomly turn off. But only sometimes! It was free, what can I say? LOL

So I'd like to save myself a little heartbreak. Anyone find it?

I think it's always turned on.

i'm not saving at all, and the only time my game gets saved is when i do it. i don't think there is an auto save!!

There is no notification when it autosaves. You won't know until you check your menu.

I have an (auto) game file which is my autosave, and I have a second game file which is my manual save. Even if I leave my game without saving, my autosave file is updated to the latest time.

My autosave doesn't appear to be working. Twice yesterday my game shut down, the first time it had been an hour since I saved... no autosave, the time was the same as my save file and then again later that evening, played for about 45 minutes, no recent autosave. Anyone else having issues?

Mine either, My game has been shutting down several times due to BUGs while I'm in construction mode and I'm just losing a lot of time here :S I'm so not used to save manually, what in 2018 ask you to manually save o.O?

The autosave function was taken out of the game through a patch. You have to save manually to prevent data loss.
