I think the only way is to give it out, then that the other sim gifts it back. So, you would give it to ssomeone you can play actively afterwards, and not just a random NPC who doesn't have house to play.
I had a Photographer specializing on portraying celebrities, then the celeb can make copies of the portrait to give out. It will not be signed, but can include a stage setting or spectacular role/costume details, making it feel more related to their latest movie etc.
